Aubergene, squash, pepper, tomato, basil and mozza
A hectic day which also made tomorrow even hectic-er.
Chased up some call and leads at home before heading to my difficult account where I actually met a few people who I had been trying to see for a while. Even though they were receptive I shan't hold my breath on them buying. Firstly because everyone like to fake interest in my products to my face and secondly because it had been so long since I had reviewed the technical aspects of the product and I couldn't really "sell" them to the customer.....
Today people kept dumping stuff on me last minute. The marketing director for our own brand products is in town over the next few days and people are scrabbling around arrange meetings for her. I got landed with an hour and managed to pull a few favors from customers who I had helped out in the past above and beyond my scope. Hopefully it works out.
Also had to arrange a flying visit from one of our product specialists with a customer at the difficult account. Even though he read (and ignored) my email I chased him up by phone in a new tactic and pinned him down with a meeting.
Spent the afternoon in my other account chasing up items that are out of stock and seeing when they would be available.
Came home and carried on working. The wife had been out on jury duty all day but managed to avoid being put on the jury. So we cooked this blip on the recommendation of mum who got the recipe from sainsburys. Pretty quick and easy and tasty too!
Footy late tonight 10pm kickoff so I will be bright eyed and bushy tailed until the early hours ready to face the hectic day tomorrow all rounded off by a drive up to Disneyland to stay the night for our regional meeting there all day Thursday.
