How Many Legs?

What I love are the multiple shadows under the legs--the overhead light fixture has four bulbs, so I suppose that's it. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to darken those shadows without darkening the background, but I couldn't finesse it the way I'd hoped. Anyway, it was a pretty big spider, and it looks like the cats may have discovered it before I did.
