Day 11 Cottpnwood

The wind was blowing the cottonwoods so that the tiny heart shaped leaves caught light and sparkled. Somehow the mono gave more of that feel.

A different day with a 6 mile walk up the valley round trip for me solo as Tom has cellulitis from a cut. He travels with antibiotics as it is one of the things he gets easily. So I drew and we did laundry in town and we went to the local library to look at whatever they had on this area. Found a journal of a guy who came out here 1916. The trivia was interesting for 30 minutes.

Wind is up temperature down storm predicted. Heading to camp stove to make clam chowder.
