Not exactly mayonnaise and beetroot but the colour is about right.

Sunlight shining on one of the Stapelia gigantea flowers in my garden. Stapelia is a genus of carrion flowers - foul smelling to attract flies for pollination. There are two broad types of plants I collect for the garden, Australian natives and the odd or interesting. This isn't an Australian native.
