Tree Castles

Sometime in the past, the woodsman from the Stornoway Trust (or was it just a creative passer by?) made allsorts of little sculptures from the dead and dying trees they found in the Castle Grounds. This was lost behind undergrowth until they cleared the way for a new mountain bike trail. A magical mystery castle for those imaginary forest dwellers.

I admire those who have the skill to see the potential for beautiful creations from the natural world and have the skills to bring them to life. A talented person who has left their mark for all to enjoy. Generosity.
