that's our car in the place that it stood for 15 hours

we were supposed to be catching the ferry from dover to calais, but a combination of the tunnel closing and then calais port authority deciding that their dock had too much snow on it to be safe meant that dover became gridlocked.

here, we are about 1.5 miles from the town but with no chance of moving or going home even if we wanted. luckily we were prepared with sleeping bags and a couple of day's worth of food and water

a fantastic stay with gosia's parents made the 39 hour journey worthwhile though.
