going wide

A busy day of wildly varying weather, heavy hail showers and hot sunshine and fresh winds and cold rain.
By the time I got home it was lashing it down , so the only chance I got to try out my new lens !!! was to nip out in the garden during a brief sunny lull in the squalls.

It's a Sigma 10-20mm. I've been so wanting to go wider. I dont think it has the sharpness or clarity of my lovely Nikkor, but I think it'll be ok. I'm looking forward to trying it out on some proper landscapes.

btw those trees in the top right of the shot really do lean like that - it's not lens distortion !
