Colourful end to a bit of a grey day

Over the week end son was here with his daughter. They were both quite unwell. Last night my wife and I realised that we had the same bug.

Today we both had severe headaches, cough, temperature and generally felt really rotten. We were supposed to attend the recording of today’s Paul O’Grady Show at the London Studio. There was no way we could have made it the way we were feeling – a real shame. We emailed the show first thing so hopefully our places were re-allocated.

Didn’t think there would be a blip today until my son came in and asked if I’d seen the rainbow out the front. I hadn’t and once seen thought it made a good end to a grotty day…
