Whoosh ...

Spent the morning absorbing the sunshine in Central Park and watching the great variety of cyclists doing the rounds .... from the hardcore training packs swathed in lycra, to the tourists in their new fluoro Nikes in a gaggle of Citibikes, to the Madison Ave matrons in their ballet flats and perfectly coiffed hair, to the hipsters on their single-speed cool bikes with their polished brogues. A good slice of NY.

Then visited the Guggenheim Museum for the first time. What an amazing building, but I felt like I was walking the decks of a boat at sea, walking around the spiral on uneven floors for a few hours. Interesting exhibition by the photographer Carrie Mae Weems.
