Evening Run

More of a gentle jog really for reasons I'll not go into. It presented the opportunity of appreciating the scenery a little more than usual.

I'm very lucky to have such lovely sights within half a mile of home, very lucky indeed.

I was reminded of an article I read the other day about happiness and contentedness. In particular, those living within easy access of open spaces rated higher on scales of happiness than lottery winners one year after their win.

Makes you think a little. Having said that, it would, at times, be nice to test the theory.
