The Old Man's Neighbour

First day of my annual fishing trip to Coniston today.

I don't know how we do it, but we've struck lucky with the weather once more. Glorious sunshine, a little cool in the breeze, but we're outside, soaking up the rays and gorgeous views (along with a few cool beverages).

We're all feeling pretty confident that the fish won't be too long in coming, but we'll see what the day holds.

In the meantime, it's been good to have some time to tinker with the "big camera" and get to know it once more.

The view here is looking north up Coniston and these hills are next to The Old Man.
