Puffins

This morning I had a jaunt to Inner Farne with some friends from the camera club. I've wanted to visit the Farnes for a number of years and for a variety of reasons never quite got there. However, this morning the weather was set fair and the boat made the short crossing out to the Islands. The puffins were still sitting on eggs so sadly no feeding with sand eels today. There were quite a number of folks there with lenses the size of bin lids and our group were suffering some serious lens envy despite having some fairly serious pieces of kit ourselves. A great trip and one I'll definitely do again.
