Bright pink
I rescued this flowering cactus from an empty property about three years ago. It has never flowered. I decided to repot it earlier this year, it seemed to be sitting in a pot of clay. It seemed to survive the re-potting and sat quite happily on my hospital shelf in the kitchen in our last house.
Just a couple of days before we were due to move I noticed a couple of little pink buds. It was put in my car with a few other precious house plants (my orchid!) and transported to our new home and has been moved from pillar to post whilst I find the best place for it to live. The flowers have opened up beautifully and there are many more new buds on it, although I still haven't settled on it's new home but the for time being it can join us in the lounge so I can look at it every day.
No diy today - went to order a carpet for our daughters bedroom but shop shut till tomorrow. Back to work tomorrow so will have to leave that to Mr Anf to sort out.
