Back street view

Back in March (20th to be precise), we had a pot-luck lunch in the office to mark a bit of success. Our Manager decided to put some extra fun into the afternoon by having a Quiz based on FOOD! Think there were 12 questions to answer - all multiple choice and you took part as a Department. Well, surprise surprise - the department I work in won! The prize was movie tickets.

We have only today been able to enjoy our prize. 7 of us were allowed to leave work early (3pm) and head out to the cinema. Us being us, we made the most of the cash we were given by getting 2 for 1 offers and using more than half the money on FOOD! Haven't had popcorn in ages.

G came to pick me up and as we drove out of the car park of the Mall, saw the Burj Khalifa in the most amazing light. This is me trying to capture it with only a little bit of success. A had to be seen with your own eyes moment; the sun going down, lights coming up, and just the silver light on the building was stunning.

Dinner at one of our favourite restaurants before finally getting home. Phew! G has spent most of the day doing back-blips (as far back as 18th April) so IF you have some time, please take a look especially the one I have linked to! :)
