He is Risen Indeed

It really was quite dark when we all met on the beach at sunrise for our worship service!!

....but GK captured the light here as more and more gathered to join in singing "Jesus Christ is Risen today."
He most definitely has!!

Our service also involved a baptism in the not so warm waters of the Arabian sea followed by an amazing buffet breakfast!

Being a normal working day for most folk....we were finished by 7:30 so GK and I headed south up the highway to visit the cemetry where her dad is buried. Sadly, no ressurection morning here, at least not yet!...... but one day there will be! (and the CAA had better be prepared!)

Back to the city for a doctors appointment for GK then home to a fully fledged Easter lunch of roast lamb and all the trimmings....mint sauce too.....the first time GK had ever eaten lamb! It needed to be good!

Then came the quiet time!! I always like have a moment amidst the busy'ness of the day to re-read the story of that first Easter morning.....and to marvel again at the wonder of it all.

As Paul says...."If Christ be not raised from the dead, then your faith is in vain"
1 Cor 15:14

There's hardly any argument to be had here.....There were so many eye witness accounts of the event,

.....but none so powerful as the witness to the disciples in Matthew 28:9

He has Risen indeed!

and there's no greater way of saying it than This!
