Sunny morning- good news on Lucy

Just back from the vets this evening. I have a chronic mental undercurrent of wittering and worrying about Lucy. I always fear the worst and dare not hope for the best. However, her vet thinks that she is walking better today than he has seen her since XMas when she tore her cruciate and it was nearly goodby forever Lucy. He says her range of movement has continued to improved as has the muscle bulk in her hind quarters. She still turns-in her right hip a bit when she walks but does not seem to be in pain and she still enjoys ball play, stick chewing, chasing ducks and squirrels (if I don't get her lead on in time) and flirting outrageously with any entire male dog she meets.
So from now on I must....I must....I must......be grateful for and relish the time I still have with her, rather than spoil this precious time with useless, corrosive dread.
