Norwich Dandies at the Trades Council May Day do

A fabulous May Day celebration in Chapelfield Gardens organised by the Norwich Trades Council.

I lost count of the number of people who swung by the Dandie area to Dress Like a Dandie! Pose Like a Dandie! or Draw Like a Dandie! but by the end of the day we had covered three sides of the Chapelfield bandstand with artworks created by visitors who ranged in age from about 2 years old to over 70.

An exhausting but exhilarating day which, for me, ended by going to see a performance by Banner Theatre Company from Yorkshire who have devised an absolutely stunning production about the miner's strike called 'Burning Issues'. Catch it if you can.
