Capturing small moments..

It took me a long time and most of the world to learn what I know about love and fate and the choices we make, but the heart of it came to me in an instant, while I was chained to a wall and being tortured. I realised, somehow, through the screaming in my mind, that even in that shackled, bloody helplessness, I was still free: free to hate the men who were torturing me, or to forgive them

If you were to ask me – what my favourite movie, or song of all time is – it would be difficult to answer but ask me my favourite book – Shantaram it is for sure!

For those who have read it – you will understand why, and those who have not, you must. It’s one of those books, you know as you near the end, you are going to miss massively.

There are a lot of reasons why I love it, but one that stands out the most is that I think it has a lot of teachings, it is very personal the ride one takes with this book and you will find you want to underline the sentences that touched you to go back to. It’s a phenomenal read!

And if you have never been to India, after reading this book, it will be in your ‘top list of places to travel’ I am sure!
