Up and out to Marseille this morning. Called with Pierre's aunt and had lunch in a wee Italian place near her flower shop. We recounted the muguet day over bruschetta and ravioli. Thankfully, Marie-France was able to refund us for the material we brought her back - the little coloured vases, the gift bags etc. - so we ended up with more of a profit than we thought!

Chilled out at Pierre's mum and dad's in the afternoon, after a wander around their neighbourhood (where this photo was taken).

That evening, Daniel took us for dinner to Chez Vincent, one of the most well-known restaurants in a not-so-well-known area of Marseille. I think I may have had the best pizza I've ever eaten. Soooo good! So good, in fact, that once Pierre finished his, he ordered a second one! :)

We had a slow walk back to the flat and an early night.
