Spiritual Reflection Day
Today was our spiritual reflection day. We started off with worship, followed by a prayer walk around Chapinero. We then sat down to watch the Passion of the Christ - it's the first time I'd seen this. It was hard to watch and I think I watched most of it from behind a cushion, but I'm really glad I have now seen it. It has given me a deeper perspective of the easter story. We then had some private bible study time, in which I looked at some of the prophesies that Jesus fulfilled (super interesting!) and then we had another of Ruth's delicious lunches, before going to Abi's house for the afternoon. She did a session with us on being a christian at uni, which was so great as she took a completely different angle to anything I had heard before. We then looked at the armour of God in detail, followed by listening to a sermon by Simon Guilleboud on turning vision into reality, whilst eating yummy pizza. It was a fab day and a really good chance to spend some time listening to God.
