A scenery to Bothnian Bay

I remember that Sally Mann said that she has got the best pictures of such landscapes that she knows well. I feel the same. When you know the landscape and you have some contact to it - or same with people, that you know the people you photograph, you can easier make better pictures.
Last days when we stayed in the cottage and skied around there I already got some contact to the landscape.
Today we drove 450 km away from Lapland and just stopped for 15 minutes for a break. I took pictures towards the see (Bothnian Bay).
Because it was only a shot of some landscape I felt more freedom to change the colours of the island and make the photo more abstract.
