The water trees

Torside Reservoir's famous often photographed water trees.

This was my best effort of the day after some poor attempts to capture more unusual sights and scenes. Poor light this afternoon but we did spot some interesting birds including a Tree Pipit calling and doing all the right things i.e. landing in a tree :-)

The highlight was seeing some Lapwing chicks.

Dad was hooked on the snooker with Mum so I was able to listen to BBC 5live coverage of Crystal Palace 3 Liverpool 3 for a change ( just like the old pre-Sky Tv days)

It reminded me that sometimes it really is better on the radio.
