Selby Abbey

Before a tortuous journey back to Surrey on the train, I visited Selby Abbey. There are some fascinating gargoyles around the abbey and there are lots of people sat on the roof staring out. This particular carving looks to be recently restored.
I had lunch with friends who I haven't seen for 8 years or so - it was good to catch up with them.
