Bank Holiday Monday
A night of undisturbed sleep and a lie in! Lush. Collected the children at lunch time and headed over to Bruntwood Park to see the track my husband has been building. What a beautiful park. The track was really busy, teaming with riders, great to see how popular it is, given the difficulties they had with the weather on that build. Dylan was a star, went all the way around 5 times, chased by daddy (who will ache tomorrrow). At one point he was on the pro section, 12 feet up, facing a 45 degree incline, shaking because he didn't think he could do it, but he did and he shouted "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" all the way down as well. Brilliant. Lily couldn't wait to get on there but it was a bit too busy for her really. She's not the easiest to see at the bottom of those jumps and they certainly move at some speed.
Bike riding was followed by some boinging on the bouncy castle, ice creams and the playground. Had tea at mum and dad's and settled down to watch charlie and the chocolate factory before bed.
A lovely day. This weekend feels like it has gone faster than normal though. Am not used to having everyone else off work on Mondays!
