Erwood Hall

Always on the lookout for a blip opportunity these days, I remembered that a nearby beauty spot had a huge area filled with rhododendron bushes. I also remembered that the car park usually had an ice cream van parked up, so the kids were easily persuaded....

Unfortunately, the flowers haven't come out yet, so we will have to go back in a couple of weeks. The hall ruins are interesting enough though. It's fascinating to wander around the rubble and imagine what it must have looked like when it was a family home.
