Multi-tasking

Today I spent much of the day unpacking, doing laundry and ironing. Since it was a mostly sunny and warm day, I really didn't want to be inside doing any ironing. So I decided to set up the ironing board outside so that I could enjoy the garden and the sunshine! A couple of weeks ago I had an external electrical socket installed and it was perfectly positioned for the iron.

I also had my digital radio close by and was listening to Classic FM, my favourite radio station. The presenter was inviting people to send an email or a text to say how we were spending our afternoon. So I wrote in and explained what I was doing and my comments were read out later in the hour. My 5 minutes of fame!
