King's Day 2014

For the first time in over 120 years the reigning Monarch in The Netherlands is a King. Willem-Alexander Claus George Ferdinand started his reign last year on 30 April and this year on his birthday weekend I celebrated with the Dutch, Königsdag.
As you can see it was a swell of orange bedecked individuals all out to have a good time. The Dutch love their monarchy and it was a wonderful atmosphere all over town. This photo was taken at Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam.
