Mum's garden

Mum's gardener comes once a fortnight to tidy up and cut the grass for her. He was on the go this morning just before we headed for home. I felt compelled to capture his efforts for posterity! It's such a pity that she can't see the results for herself but she knows that it's looking pretty good since everyone that visits tells her so. She had a surprise visit this morning from our son and family en route for a wee holiday to Ayr. We of course knew they were to drop in, so we didn't leave until afterwards. That way hubby and I got a cuddle from Lola and Louie as well as Great-Granmum. The wee fella couldn't quite work out why his Grandad and Granmum were in this house rather than at home but he didn't seem to mind!

We are home now to a very quiet house. It's going to be a strange few days with only hubby and the dog keeping me company. Still we are off south on Thursday to spend some time with the third grandchild. Can't wait!
