On the bridge

at 8 am. So morning light above the Siuslaw River and the amount of clouds is promising a day of showers and sun...Better in large.

We had to bring in my car to the garage and afterwards enjoyed an early visit to our favorite local coffee place. They have a little terrace out to the river and inside a fireplace that is lit, when the weather is nasty. They offer also blankets for those who want to sit outside. Great place and as it is a small town, you often meet someone that you know.

Photographic question: is this picture too "busy"? missing a point where the eyes can rest? I think so, but it was the best choice out of many and I liked the vivid build of the clouds. Let me know, what you think, please.

And as for the look of the guitar player, I have been thinking about that one too. Be it concentration or anger, looking at it twice, I don't like the look. It is definitely not friendly. I talked with him a little later and he seemed friendly enough. And being the official entertainer at an event like this, he must have been prepared to be taken in pictures. There was another photographer too and I learned that that was the "official" one, the one designated to take pictures. This is a small place, with an "art- in-group" and I presume that the look was caused by the fact that I was not known, not part of the in-group.
