The famous swan

Early in the morning, there was snow on the ground. It was too wet to do anything on fields before noon.

I had a reason to drive to town (or near town) and on the way back I stopped to take a few shots of this swan. When I was a child, Whooper Swans were mythical birds of distant forest lakes. I still find it peculiar that they now nest even in towns. That's a school across the pond, and I was standing on the roadside.
