Bank holiday bikers

Bikers come every weekend to our village and congregate outside the cafés. As the weather warms up, more and more come, so I welcome their arrival - it heralds the start of summer to me. They are not the stereotypical bikers - most are silver-haired. They spend quite some time admiring each other's bikes and talking about biking. There were about a dozen when I walked home from my U3A Discussion group meeting. (Human Rights this month).

I've been 'persuaded' to introduce the topic of Scottish Independence at our September meeting, which is just before the vote. I think I was picked on as I'm the only Scot in the group. I am no expert - is anybody? - on the topic but I expect I can find plenty issues for them to discuss. After all, the outcome may affect us too, here south of the border.
