Approaching

This is Standedge Tunnel End at Marsden - the start of the longest canal tunnel in Britain.

I picked this shot as I like the solitary figure looking over at all the activity on the opposite bank, and the quite sinister looking approaching lights in the tunnel.

The Bank Holiday is a welcome extension to the weekend - feels like an 8 day week....oh, serendipity, an appropriate song. Number 2 on the my all time list of Beatles songs.
