Maya - ancient and modern

Modern artefacts collected on recent trips to Mexico and Guatemala. The weavings were produced by the Mayan Indian women providing a source of income, making excellent use of their traditional skills. The small statues are reproductions of jade death masks discovered in the Mayan tombs.
