Sochi - Women's Luge

Today was Luge day. By now we had it figured out - we got on at the close train station and we knew exactly where to go to find food. We had some wonderful hot mead and fried potatoes from a street vendor. It snowed a bit, so the hot mead properly fortified us before the event. We had a great time wandering about. R was on a mission to find a place he could ski later in the trip - which took quite a bit of legwork.

Luge was great - you could walk up and down almost the entire track and watch at most of the corners. You could hear them coming, then zoom they were gone. I had a lot of photos of empty track or blurry as I randomly swung the camera without looking. They are so much faster in real life than on tv!
