Day 8 Hidden Canyon

So we set off on a short on distance up hike into this canyon largely without water right now. But it was truly a step back into ancient time as the forms and undulations, the textures and colors are such evidence of the millions of years of natural forces forming and reforming all this sandstone. The canyon was high off the valley floor do one formed by rim off as opposed to creek or river.

I have so many to download from the big camera. Thank heavens for the phone and a smidge of phone connection so that I can both keep a brief diary and show you a little.
