A Day out in Warwick
We headed for some lovely lunch in Lemington Spa on Saturday followed by a visit to Warwick Castle.
What I didn't realise until we arrived was that the castle is owned by the same group that own Madame Taussauds and Legoland etc. It was a bit pricey and there was quite a "Disney"/ theme park feel to it. This place is steeped in history and was so beautiful it was a bit of a shame really.
There was also some amazing birds shown - I managed to get this nice fella flying around - so big and yet so graceful.
The weather this weekend has been lovely. Fingers crossed it stays for the whole weekend.
We also managed to watch Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Saturday evening which I loved. I really cannot wait for the 3rd movie to come out....or I could read the books.
