Weird Man!

I have gotten slightly behind with my photo editing work this week and I ended up editing all day, non-stop today.. well.. non-stop at least until about 4pm when I suddenly developed 'zig-zaggy' vision. I get this every now and again when I am tired and especially if I am looking at bright lights.

It is very weird.. I develop a blind spot in my peripheral vision and all around it there is an arc of moving jagged edge shapes.. like the image in front of me has been fractured and the jagged pieces are moving, like a kaleidoscope.

I had a go at representing what it looks like, in today's blip. The most disconcerting bit is the blind spot.. parts of people's faces can suddenly disappear!

Anyway, I have been reassured that these funny turns are nothing to be alarmed at.. they are the precursor to a migraine headache - although I am very lucky because I never get the headache.. just the weird vision thing!

I retired to the sofa for a couple of hours with a mug of tea until I was able to see properly again - and then had to get back to the editing. Funny vision or no funny vision - the work still has to get done!
