Perhaps the last Aladdin rose?

This Aladdin rose was given to me in 2004 after my mother died. It has thrived in a large pot and produces several flowerings through the year.

As my thoughts and memories turn to my late brother and our childhood, stories that were read to us, such as Aladdin and his magic lamp, come to mind.

This bloom may be the last now for the winter, especially as a storm is predicted here later today.
