Anthocharis cardamines

After much confusion and googling I have discovered that this lovely butterfly is an orange-tipped white butterfly. Confusion because there are no orange tips.
This is clearly because she is a female, is shit hot as she is, and doesn't need any fancy pants orange tips. Look it up if you don't believe me.

Richard worked until lunchtime and then we went into town to get Tess some pirate-y gear for a school trip on Tuesday, and some essential gardening bits and bobs for me.
Then Richard took Tess surfing and I tried to do some gardening. I have so much to do still and I keep giving myself new jobs that I spent over an hour walking in circles and making lists before getting my hands dirty for a few short minutes.
Then I realised the time and had to wash my hands make dinner and tidy up the gardening stuff.

Bummer.

Anyway. Nice butterfly.
