With this Ring

Were married in a beautiful Humanist ceremony, possibly two of the kindest bravest people I know. AnnieBScotland and John on the roof garden at New Lanark.
The perfect symbolism of the hand fastening, drinking from the Quaich and the planting of a Buddleia chosen because its blooms will match the purple of Annie’s dress and bring soaring butterflies to this place so beloved to Annie and John – the ceremony performed so sensitively by Tom and celebrated by us all present.
A difficult day, not how we would have hoped to mark Annie and John finally tying the knot, but a privilege to be part of their continuing love story.
A long hard road from their engagement last summer.
