Water Avens

Love this little flower which is related to the garden geums. It reputedly wards off evil spirits so I felt quite safe taking my friend's dogs for a walk along the river. She is ill at the moment and it felt good to be walking dogs again after my lovely Gill moved south and took her dogs with her.
