Canalway Cavalcade

I was up at the crack of dawn (well, not quite the crack...that sun comes up very early these days) to go to work for the morning, which actually went by very quickly!

It was still beautiful, sunny and warm when I left work at lunchtime. I had a coffee with a friend, then walked to Camden and along the canal to Little Venice, as there was a 'Canalway Cavalcade' going on this weekend. Lots of boats and bunting (oh, how I absolutely love a bit of colourful bunting!) There's a procession of illuminated boats tonight at 9.30...I wish I'd gone along to that now, as it's such a lovely evening. I bet they will look wonderful!

Hurrah for the extra day off tomorrow! Enjoy it!
