Blackbirds love grapes!!

I had no sooner put the grapes on the wall than one of the blackbirds flew down and pinched two grapes. I was stood about 3 feet away from him!!

I went in to the house to collect my camera and some more grapes, and then we repeated the performance. He takes one grape, bites in to it so that he can squash it in his beak, then picks up a second one before flying off!!

Spent a couple of hours this afternoon helping my neighbour sort out her book stall for the May Day church fair tomorrow. There are hundreds of books: the weird, the odd and some really interesting looking ones!!! I can see me buying some of the interesting ones tomorrow!!
