White Peak View
We went for a walk from Alstonefield in The Peak District today. Most of the walk was quiet as we kept away from the popular routes.
An abundance of wild flowers and lambs to see. In fact I saw more orchids today than I did on the Easter Bank Holiday Monday when I went in search of them! So this year it was the right time to see them this weekend. I've also never seen so many cowslips - there were literally thousands of them.
A couple of butterflies too - Specked Wood and Green Veined White.
