Cardiff - in the Bay

Another gorgeous day - so today we went off to the bay to walk across the barrage. We parked the car near the other half's office so we wouldn't have to pay the extortionate rates that are charged in the area and walked the 10 mins to the Quay.
Had a lovely dinner in Eddie's America Diner (lots of 50's memorabilia scattered about and great pictures throughout - what was a bit odd though is there is a TARDIS in the toilet - I kid you not)

The lovely stroll across the barrage taking photos of the swans on the other side of the barrage time for a quick drink in The Custom House, before catching the water bus back to the quay and walking past the Millennium Centre on the way back to the car.

A wonderful day and we are both shattered now, as well as having caught the sun - can't wait to see what we get up to tomorrow!!!
