GUERNSEY BLIP MEET

We went to church this morning and it was a great service - the good thing about being a Christian is that you feel at home with other Christians wherever you go and this morning was no exception.

After a fantastic lunch cooked by Mr. T. we set off to Port Soif for our Blip Meet - the photograph at the bottom left is Port Soif and the sea really was that wonderful turquoise colour and with the pink thrift, in the sunshine, it looked lovely. There was still a little "chill" in the air, but once we got down into the cafe garden, it was a different story.

Lots of blippers turned up and these include Tinkerbelle, Karen Bourg, MauriceB, GuernseyNix, BikerRich, GuernseyGirl, BGB, Petespics, ffredsmum, Allsorts12, and a few husbands thrown in for good measure - oh and I nearly forgot, two grandchildren and a dog! We had a great time and there was a good "buzz" of conversation.

The top picture shows most of us - very kindly taken by Mr. HCB - I think he should start blipping but he's adamant he won't!

The bottom right is about a 5 minute walk from where we are staying, Les Amereurs - this is the view from our friends' kitchen window and what a view!

All in all a great day - thanks to all those who helped make it so.

You meet people who forget you.
You forget people you meet.
But sometimes you meet those people you can’t forget.
Those are your (Blip) friends.
