Flying Maalie

A really poor day today, misty on the hills and raining most of the day! Not looking good for the rest of the week either.

Down working at the lighthouse again today but not as busy with the poor day but a better turnout than I was expecting :)
I've been hearing reports on the Shetland Folk Festival and so mad I've had to work all weekend and missed it. I'll hopefully get to it next year :)

Puffins may be the most popular birds in Shetland but we do have a huge variety of birds up here. The birds have been enjoying playing in the wind today as you can see with this Maalie (Fulmar) at Sumburgh Head.
