Sunday: Being Interviewed

The annual commemoration ceremony, honouring the victims of the concentration camp that stood there, was held at Jasenovac today.  It is about an hour outside of Zagreb and I took part in the wreath laying ceremony.

Before we headed over to the memorial site, this former inmate was giving interviews to Croatian TV.

Given why we were there today, I tried not to dwell on the fact that it was absolutely perishing.  The outside ceremony lasted about three hours during which the wind and rain howled throughout........
