Siena shadows

A really overcast day in Siena meant I was unable to get any real shadows and textures through the day - it was good in as far as it tested me - and the guests - and meant I tried a few techniques I rarely use. This shot was taken in the building opposite the Duomo - Siena's cathedral - I loved the simplicity of lines and shapes, and the guy sitting added a feeling of scale.

I almost published this one - which is a 10 photo multi exposure panned following the group of people as then walked through the campo.
