Crepe myrtle

Today's exercise was DOF. I had real trouble blipping this tree last week but think I have worked out my problems. I took some of the whole garden and trees with large DOF and some close ups with lovely blurry backgrounds.

This tree had nice white flowers at the end of summer and now has a range of coloured leaves some yellow, red or brown. I also love the bark of a mature Crepe myrtle but this one is only a few years old so it may take some time to get a good effect in that department.

Brief sun shine appeared today...yay. It has been snowing in nearby hills so remains chilly.
